Glen, age 40, thinks his wife's a good sport to come out and watch him play in the heat every summer.

I came up from Trinidad, and when I came up here, cricket was being played... not at this good level, 23 years ago, but cricket was being played before I came, so I just joined in.

I was in the Trinidad Youth Trials, but I didn't make it. I grew up in a small village, Preysal, with a lot of good cricketers. Growing up, we always had a couple people on the National team.

In cricket they have a batsman and a bowler and an all-arounder, and I try to be an all-arounder: bat, bowlin', and everything. I like 'em all!

I've played cricket here every single summer. My wife, she's been forced to like cricket: because I like it! I like some of the things she do, and she know I like cricket, so you know, she tries to like it.

What I like about playing cricket is you get to enjoy the summer for 4 months. I like the outdoors and the heat; it's better than a cold day!
